Pilot Projects
Pilot Projects, as defined by the NCI, are a mechanism for new investigators to begin a career in community - based participatory research in reducing cancer health disparities. They are funded, by the NCI, as competitive supplements to existing Community Network Programs such as AANCART. Pilot Projects are one of the ways that AANCART works to foster community-based participatory research and training programs to reduce cancer health disparities. Below we will post information on the process for each round of pilot project proposals. We will also post information about AANCART Pilot Projects that have been funded as it becomes available.
